Dan is an illustrator and printmaker who graduated with a BA (Hons) in Illustration from the University of the West of England. During his time at university, he developed a strong interest in etching, drawn to both the process and the visual qualities it creates. Etching has since become an important part of his practice, and he is now a member of Spike Print Studio.

 

Alongside printmaking, Dan enjoys responding to text and narrative through his illustrations. His work is often dramatic and atmospheric, using light, shadow, and tone to create striking and engaging images.
